Rebecca R. Chown, OD

Dr. Rebecca Chown received her doctorate of optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2003.  She then served as a Captain in the United States Air Force for 3 years at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, AL, followed by 3 years at the Portland International Air Reserve Base.  Dr. Chown has been a resident of the Columbia River gorge since 2006.  Dr. Chown's practice experience includes working at Oregon Health and Sciences University's Casey Eye Institute; being the sole owner of a Medicaid only vision clinic in Vancouver, Washington, and working in a group practice. 


Dr. Chown is the current Director of Public Health for the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association.  She has served on several committees with the Optometric Physicians of Washington and was voted the Young O.D. of the Year for the State of Washington in 2010. Dr. Chown is passionate about children’s vision and enjoys guest lecturing and conducting pediatric vision screenings.


In her spare time, Dr. Chown enjoys the great outdoors with her husband, two young children and their 3 year old labradoodle Gryffindor. Whether it is hiking Catherine Creek, biking the Mosier tunnels, or running along Indian Creek Trail…Dr. Chown has made the gorge her playground and home.


Indian Creek Family Eye Care welcomes Audrey Lukey, O.D., to our practice. Dr. Lukey is originally from Chicago, but her passion for travel has led her to care for patients in Honduras, Guatemala, Australia, and Dubai as well as the United States. Her special interests include specialty contact lenses and eye disease.

Dr. Lukey received her Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from Illinois College of Optometry and holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Augustana College. She speaks basic Spanish and is experienced with the latest in vision technology. Dr. Lukey’s other interests make her a great fit for the Columbia Gorge. Not only does she love water sports and exploring the outdoors, but she is an accomplished harpist, woodworker, and Pilates instructor. Welcome, Dr. Lukey!

Audrey Lukey, OD

Tiffany LeDoux - Tiffany was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and has lived in Eugene, Maui, and most recently Denver, Colorado. She joined our practice in February of 2019, bringing more than 25 years of Practice Management experience in Eye Care. In addition, she is a highly skilled Optician who looks forward to elevating your experience at Indian Creek Family Eye Care.


Since returning to Oregon Tiffany is enjoying rediscovering the state and its many attractions with her husband, 2 children and 2 dogs.  Her favorite vacation destination is Kona Hawaii & her favorite past time is stand up paddle boarding.

Amber Thomas - Amber grew up in Mosier on a 120 acre farm that has been in her family for more than 3 generations.  She later settled in The Dalles where she raised 2 boys and began a career in Eye Care.  Amber is an ABO certified Optician with over 15 years of experience as an Optician and Optical Manager. 

Since joining our practice in April of 2019 Amber’s knowledge and experience has greatly enhanced the level of services we provide our patients at Indian Creek Family Eye Care.

Outside of the office Amber practices Bowen an energetic form of body work, enjoys painting, travelling and the outdoors.

Anna Elias - Anna was born in White Salmon and grew up in Pine Grove. She moved back to The Gorge with her husband and 2 children in 2018 after spending many years in Aberdeen, Washington.  She is a Customer Service professional who speaks fluent Spanish. Prior to joining our practice in August of 2018, Anna spent 10 years as the Surgical Coordinator for a large orthopedic practice.

Outside of the office Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, children and extended family, both here in The Gorge and in Michoacán, Mexico every December.

Rosemary Shepardson - is a graduate of the University of Oregon and has been in the Eye care industry, in one form or another, since 1998. In her spare time she loves to knit, sew, sing, dance, practice her ukulele, and do community theatre - all while preparing for Halloween, her favorite holiday. She and her husband love living in the Gorge, walking their dog and enjoying all of the fun and fabulous community events our area has to offer. She looks forward to taking care of your billing needs.

Rosemary Shepardson, Billing Coordinator

Gryffindor - or Gryffin for short - is our resident Hypoallergenic therapy dog. On a typical day you will find him in the back hallway taking a cozy nap or snuggling up with our billing coordinator Rosemary. Gryffin is a 3 year old Labradoodle who enjoys long walks on the beach and good conversation with friends. He is available for all to enjoy and will help relieve any exam anxiety with a few gentle kisses and hugs.

Cancellation Policy: It is the patient’s responsibility to keep scheduled appointments. Our practice requires notification of cancellation or changes to your appointment, 24 hours prior to your appointment or sooner if possible. Our practice will consider the appointment a No Show anytime the patient has not given 24 hour notice of cancellation or has failed to arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled appointment time. Patients will be subject to a $25.00 missed appointment fee. No Show fees are solely the patient’s responsibility and must be paid in full before the patient’s next appointment.
